Maisie Café, 32 rue du Mont Thabor 75001 Paris: the best juices in Paris
In recent years New York and California style juice bars have been cropping up in Paris. Health-oriented places where you can sip fresh juice, cold pressed to retain all the benefits of the vitamins and other trace elements in the seeds and fresh vegetables.
Maisie Café is both beautiful and delicious. There are cold-pressed juices, but also soups, veggie balls (on the menu, they’re called vegetable truffles – it’s more chic!), gluten-free granola, fresh salads and gluten-free focaccia. Good healthful food in a relaxed environment.
The founders spend half their lives in airplanes travelling the world. Isabella Capece is one of the top marketing executives for the French luxury sector. After years of trying to figure out how to deal with fatigue and jetlag, she completely changed her diet on the advice of a naturopath. She still travels just as much. Her husband travels a little less now, so they decided to open this place.
Check it out right away, especially at this time of the year, when it can be difficult to fit into the clothes that looked so good on us before the holidays!
